Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you create a Sentinal account, connect a service, use Sentinal's features, or subscribe to a paid plan. By creating an account or using Sentinal, you agree to these Terms.
If you use Sentinal on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
What Sentinal provides
Sentinal is a personal command-center service. It connects to services you authorize, retrieves limited recent information from those connections, organizes that information into views such as your overview, priorities, calendar, email, notes, statistics, and daily briefing, and answers questions through an AI assistant.
Sentinal may offer demo data so you can explore the product before connecting services. Demo content is illustrative only and is clearly separated from your live connected accounts.
Your account
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date.
- Keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
- Meeting the minimum age requirement. Sentinal is not intended for children under 13 and you must be old enough to form a binding contract under applicable law.
Connections and authorized access
Sentinal works by connecting to third-party services through their official authorization systems, such as Google's OAuth consent screen. When you connect a service, you authorize Sentinal to retrieve the specific information described on the consent screen and in the Privacy Policy.
- Connections are read-only with the current implementation. Sentinal does not send email, edit documents, or modify events on your behalf.
- You may disconnect a service at any time from the Connections page or from the provider's account settings.
- You may only connect accounts that belong to you or that you are authorized to use. Connecting an account you are not permitted to connect is a violation of these Terms.
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Sentinal Pro costs $10 per month and includes a 14-day free trial. After the trial ends, your selected payment method is charged monthly through our payment provider, Stripe, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
- You can manage your payment method, invoices, and cancellation from the billing portal linked in Settings, or from your Stripe account.
- Cancellation stops future charges. Where the current billing period has already been paid, access continues until the end of that period and is not automatically refunded.
- Failed payments may result in a past-due status and, if unresolved, suspension of paid access, as handled by the payment provider's retry process.
- Prices may change with advance notice before your next renewal.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Sentinal does not store your full card number. Payment disputes are handled according to the payment provider's processes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Sentinal for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of others.
- Attempt to access accounts, records, or connections that are not yours.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to bypass its access controls or usage limits.
- Resell, redistribute, or provide the service to third parties as your own product.
- Misuse AI features, including attempting to generate unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content through the assistant or briefing features.
We may suspend or limit accounts that violate these Terms, where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or third-party providers.
AI features and accuracy
The assistant and daily briefing use AI models. Sentinal instructs models to answer from your synchronized context, but AI output may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. You should verify important information against the original source before acting on it.
AI output is general information about your connected data. It is not legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
Service availability and changes
Sentinal is provided "as is" and "as available." We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and third-party services may change or restrict what their connections provide, which can affect what Sentinal can retrieve.
We may modify or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected in the effective date on this page, and continuing to use Sentinal after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
Data and privacy
How Sentinal handles account information, connected-service data, Google OAuth access, AI processing, and billing information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The current app does not provide a self-service account deletion control. To request changes to or deletion of your account data, contact the Sentinal service owner through the support or purchase channel through which your account was provided.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sentinal and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the amount you paid for Sentinal in the twelve months before the claim, or to the minimum amount permitted by law if no amount was paid.
Changes to these terms
These Terms may change as Sentinal's features and business arrangements change. The effective date on this page will be updated when revised Terms are posted.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These Terms do not create any third-party beneficiary rights.
